An account of the ICE raid in Postville, IA -- Everything is a Call to Action

Here is a link to a detailed summary of what happened written by someone inside. Please read with consideration of all the things we know about violence, the state, displacement, migration, incarceration, debt, servitude, exploitation, assimilation, labor practices, humanity, dignity and respect.

ICE declared the Postville raid the largest in historty. The ICE raid severely hit
the Postville community, where they literally arrested one out of every four residents.
ICE dehumanized workers, trampled their rights, forcing most of the workers' families
to flee into hiding at a local church. Men, women, children and elders were traumatized
by the ICE raid and are still suffering from the after-shocks.

Demand accountability from ICE and justice
for all immigrant workers, families and communities.
Stop the raids; no more detentions and deportations!
